Jmsbell, geboren in 1944, is een autodidactische schilder en fotograaf die woont en werkt in Atlanta, Georgia, Verenigde Staten. Haar terugkeer naar de schilderkunst kwam onverwacht tussen 2009 en 2010, terwijl ze in een daklozenopvang woonde. Omdat ze zich geen professionele opleiding kon veroorloven, trainde ze alleen, in de overtuiging dat het leven de grootste leraar is.
Sinds Jmsbell zich acht jaar geleden bij Artmajeur registreerde, heeft hij voortdurend vooruitgang geboekt en is zijn artistieke evolutie zichtbaar in zijn werken.
