Mohamed Hanafi is an Egyptian artist who studied art and design at the College of Applied Arts in Egypt. He has several different works in the two fields in Egypt and Dubai, and his current residence in Dubai has formed a new artistic vision in his life. He was influenced by the real experience of some contemporary artists who transferred their experience, culture, and the life in which they grew up into real art. One of the most important factors that helped this type of art to reach its strength is the focus on shadow and light because it is one of the ways that confirm meaning in expression. One of the artists who influenced him the most is Rembrandt van Rijn because of his true knowledge of the importance of using theories of light and shadows in his works, as well as human values and reflections on the fate of the human race. This is what made Hanafi have a great reserve of maturity in transforming his ideas into a real artistic experience that he is trying to express. Throughout his journey in life, he searches for the sincere artistic sense to express his vision and how real life reflects its meaning on him.
