Jafeth Moiane é um artista moçambicano versátil, trabalhando como pintor, escultor e fotógrafo. Actualmente vive e trabalha em Moçambique, onde desenvolveu o seu talento artístico desde a infância.
Jafeth Moiane começou a desenhar e pintar em 1976, enquanto cursava o ensino fundamental. A partir do ano seguinte, em 1977, já era um apaixonado pela arte da pintura. Em 1984-1985, fez um curso de pintura para aprender as técnicas de desenho a lápis, aquarela, óleo e acrílico. Mais tarde, em 2013, fez também um curso de pintura batik.
Desde 2007, Jafeth Moiane participa regularmente em exposições por Moçambique, onde apresenta os seus variados trabalhos artísticos.
Actualmente, as pinturas de Jafeth Moiane são dedicadas às populações da província de CABO DELGADO, distrito de PALMA, norte de Moçambique, onde a empresa francesa TOTAL está a construir o maior projecto de petróleo e gás de África e do mundo. Mulheres e crianças são brutalmente mortas por terroristas. Desde 2017, dezenas de milhares de pessoas foram mortas e mais de 700.000 pessoas fugiram para outras partes do país com nada além de suas roupas. É uma crise humanitária.
As pinturas de Jafeth Moiane são um grito pelo fim deste genocídio, pela paz e pelo desenvolvimento do seu país, Moçambique. Ele usa sua arte para conscientizar sobre esta trágica situação e levantar sua voz pelo bem-estar de seu povo.
