A New Lilith, unlike the original, is not causing havoc in the Garden of Eden. Instead, this Lilith, seeks comfort inside elegant surroundings. Wearing a flesh coloured, tight-fitting lace dress, with peak-a-boo elements, a snake has wrapped around her body. Its head lies on her chest. There it sits, while she calmly strokes it. Shot in New York, this work has a fusion of elements from artist Evelyn de Morgan's Cadmus and Harmonia of 1877.
Miss Aniela's photography interweaves photoshoots from real locations with surreal elements including classical paintings. The art pieces do not utilise Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Established artist Miss Aniela is a British-based fine art photographer spearheading the movement of avant-garde art photography. Twice named Saatchi’s ‘One to Watch’, Miss Aniela’s collections have been exhibited on an international scale and her commercial clients have included Nikon, HTC, as well as bespoke large-scale artworks commissioned for prestigious restaurants in London. Miss Aniela's sought after Surreal Fashion pieces have amassed over $3 million in global sales over the past two years.
Miss Aniela's pieces are printed in Giclée with 70+ year archival inks on the finest Hahnemühle Pearl paper (Baryta for XL+) chosen specifically to bring to life the colour, detail and rich quality of the photography. Every print is accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity guaranteeing the exclusivity of the edition.
