I am Mia Phlor, born in Portugal in 1972 and I am a woman lost in the world. Sometimes I live in Portugal other times in the UK or elsewhere. I am an author as well, with several books published. When I am not inspired to write, I am inspired to paint, I am a contemporary artist, who explores the abstract art in a very unique way to express emotions and feelings, getting inspiration in energy, freedom of movement, and things beyond the daily experience. And because my mind is always evolving, original paintings arise from nothing, and are inspired in everything.
I didn't paint for many years due to work and family, however after kids have grown up, I decided to return to do things I love, and painting was one of them.
Since 2017 I restarted painting and sold more then 400 paintings and have always around 300 paintings available online. Almost all my paintings are on paper because paper is more challenging to paint. All my paintings are unframed, this way it gives the owner the option to frame it at your own taste.
Although my paintings are on paper they are affordable and durable.
