im manga panda and now im gonna tell you a bit about myself! ^__^
Hello Im manga panda !!!! OK: I live in New Zealand in a city called Auckland. I want to be a manga artist when im older and every day i draw manga! i love art! im also a super duper ultra mega OTAKU !!!!!!!!!! Other interests other than manga are : Karate, i do a special style of karate called inaru! im only a green belt but i still love it !!! ^^ i also love technology!! Also o love school!(beleive it or not!) i'm an A student!!! I read manga every day nearly and lucky for me my local library has tons of manga !! its like the only place that does where i live........... apart from my favourite place ever, the only manga shop where i live a shop called GRAPHIC NOVEL CAFE!!! it has a manga library, a cafe a manga art supplies area everyhting otaku you can imagine and it also has a manga movie theatre , lucky the only place that sells manga is sooooooooooo cool !!!! also lucky for me Graphic Novel Cafe host the only yearly doujinshi fair in New Zealand !!!!! so im creating my own manga to put in that called Kalin A Little Witch Adventure about a witch and some strange magical creatures , also i have a lot of colour manga artwork to put into it aswell! im the youngest one who will sell manga there !!!

My philosophy is to work hard for what you have and put all youve got into it! i think success is a journey not a destination and that you can never stop learning!!! I think manga has a lot of meaning and i hope it spreads to every corner and crevice of the world!!! (was that a philosophy????? >_

I have not won many awards to do with manga, i have won the year 6 (im not year6 this year) art award, runner up in year 6 writting award, (to do with digital art) runner up technology award and i am having my manga art, along with a display of manga and info, displayed in the school library!!! >_

My work shop is just my desk! i have my manga shelf beside me, im surrounded by manga and anime posters, i have all my copic markers, pens, pencils and everything i need to create manga, i have my laptop, my folders with previous manga art and drafts and...yeah!! thats my work shop where i create all my manga!!! oh but sometimes i need fresh air so i take my work outside on my

the most press coverage ive had would be on sites like artmajeur, deviantart, art wanted, sheezyart, digital art etc, my blog and pages like my space and my art being in the school library!!!

I am no realy sure what expositions are! Sorry T_T

My technique is to firt start off with some ruff sketches finding a good charactar, position, background etc. THe i choose one and do a ruff copy. then from that i do a good sketch, which i go over until its perfect. then with a fine black pen(realy fine) i outline everything. then with a thicker pen fillin bits with thicker edges. then i rub out te pencil. i then colour in the main parts with their base colours, which i usually test on the ruff first. then i go over them and do light shading, then darker and darker shading. then i do designs and finish off the colour. then with white paint i do any sparkles and glimers eg in eyes or on the sea!!

I recently won the art competition at whangapara college!! The photo is the art i entered!!! I am very pleased!
