L'effetto pittorico è stato ottenuto utilizzando una piccola racla serigrafica come fosse una spatola per dipingere e versando più colori sul telaio; in particolare i colori, in funzione chiaroscurale, sono stati utilizzati per dare rilievo al soggetto. Stampe leggermente fuori registro, piccole sbavature e depositi di inchiostro irregolari sono puramente voluti. Per l'opera sono stati utilizzati 4 telai serigrafici.
