Biography
Leo Spreksel is working as a choreographer, coach, director and visual artist. He had a career as artistical leader in dance and was among other director of the Philip Glass opera Satyagraha. His visual work is in collections in Australia, the US, Indonesia, India and the Netherlands. Present work mainly pastel drawings and aquarel on big formats. Sources of inspiration are nature, philosophy and ofcourse the human body. Images are not realistic, figuration is abstract to allow poetic strength. Shapes and colour are leading.
