我喜欢与时俱进的视角，工具，吸纳，融入和创作。逃离被学院派的技法的制约，要画出当下和属于自己的作品感觉和辨识度

跨界画家叶纪鸿，出生于香港。生长与台北， 从少年时代到大学的求学时代， 一直利用空暇及社团活动，师从台北画家学习绘画，作品入选过台北的孙逸仙纪念馆， 并在大学毕业前完成首次个展。在接着的职场生涯里，曾经是系统工程师、企业主。是中国文学爱好者，旅游，摄影兴趣广泛。

80年代因为喜欢，开始收藏台湾当代大师，如刘奇伟， 于右任的作品。90年代开始到北京，上海开始收藏吴冠中，潘天寿，程十发等的作品。

2016年以后，重新将绘画列入生活重心之一。

多年来，由于一直持续保持对绘画艺术的关注和爱好，加上多年的生活阅历练和眼光， 一旦可以再度用画笔来表达，便可以自如的补捉在绘画艺术里的灵感。

我喜欢用具象，写意，再带点半抽象的技巧，和斑斓的色彩来表达我的画面。我的绘画艺术作品，不会只是色彩和线条。还应该可以凝注跨越的时空的超现实方式表达。 有时候也可以是一幅当下的纪录， 是日常里发现美好生活纪录，必须是有文学内涵的。

由于喜欢中国文学和历史，比如描绘梅花， 这绝对是中国历代文学艺术家的题目，我就会连续15年的冬天，都会到访广州东郊，或台北故宫的梅花公园，用心尝试如何融入，延续表达中国文人又能够用当代的创新手法， 表现出不同的”梅花“主题。


然后， 我一定会用文字描述我绘画的每一幅作品时的情怀，记录仿佛如歌的每一个瞬间。让一幅单独的绘画，也拥有来自画家直接书写的文学和精神内涵，让作品拥有独特的辨识度。
