London, as an enormous multicultural city has certain vibrations of its own. Different lifestyles of all the races create one special lifestyle that could be experienced in London only. In my personal opinion, although it is good to have all things perfectly structured and proportioned to tiny bits and pieces, structure is not so important as the final effect that photos get when presented together in series, each being so different and having its own character, while still being connected to the other ones.
All photos of the series are black and white with a glimpse of red colour, which gives a special effect. Those are my three favourite colours, and I thought they would be perfect for presenting London the way that I would like to. Black and white are chosen to show at their best all the sharp lines, shadows, grey and dull moments of a rainy day (as it usually is in London), or for expressing great contrast without having to adjust brightness, when the sun is shining. Black and white, because it's so special, so "old school" looking and creates such a beautiful effect. And in the end, those red moments are given to lighten things up, to point out at few details, and add a bit of love and passion to a picture as a whole.
In conclusion, this project consists of all the simple things that could possibly not be seen anywhere out of London, which makes them great representatives of the city of London, seen through the eye of photographer, myself, and searching for and seeing myself in it.
