This is a very mysterious painting, done on the verge of fantasy and surrealism.
The painting depicts the Horned God. This is an ancient image from ancient legends about Cernunnos. Once this image was transformed by Christian dogmatists into the image of some supposedly evil Devil. However, in fact, it was just an ancient god, an ancient power of the forerunner, declared after the total Christian expansion, as the power of evil.
The Horned God himself is an ancient force of nature, wisdom and magic.
My painting depicts the image of the Horned God as an elven king or a forest king. Long white hair, long clothes, as if in a scattering of stars, a staff in his hands and a lantern, and, of course, huge horns.
Moreover, his image seems a little ghostly, as if he were some kind of spirit.
He stands against the backdrop of a forest filled with mysterious images of mysterious stars and lights, some flying fish, wolves, owls, demons аnd many eyes that peek out from the twilight here and there.
It is like a fantastic extravaganza of many images, among which a slow-witted wanderer can get lost, as in fairy tales about people and elves. According to ancient legends, as a rule, many of the people who got into the worlds of elves and wizards by mistake or intentionally often never returned.
After all, this is a forbidden world that can have thousands of eyes...

На картине изображён Рогатый Бог. Это древний образ из древних легенд о Кернунносе. Когда-то этот образ был превращен христианскими догматистами в образ некоего якобы злого Дьявола. Однако на деле это был просто древний бог, древняя сила предтечи, обьявленная после тотальной христианской экспансии, как сила зла.
Сам Рогатый Бог - это древняя сила природы, мудрости и магии.
На моей картине изображён образ Рогатого Бога, как эльфийского короля или лесного царя. Длинные белые волосы, длинные одежды, словно в россыпи звёзд, в руках посох и фонарь, и,конечно же, огромные рога.
Более того, его образ словно немного призрачен, словно он какой-то дух.
Он стоит на фоне леса, наполненного таинственными образами таинственных звёзд и огней, каких-то летающих рыб, волков, сов, демонов и множества каких-то глаз, которые то тут, то там выглядывают из полумрака.
Это словно фантастическая феерия множества образов, среди которые можно потеряться нерасторопному страннику, словно в сказках о людях и эльфах. Согласно древним легендам, как правило, многие из людей, которые попадали по ошибке или преднамеренно в миры эльфов и волшебников, часто так и не возвращались назад.
Ведь это запретный мир, у которого могут быть тысячи глаз...
