Que es el Arte?

Pienso que para cada artista el arte es algo muy personal y que corresponde a lo que es su capacidad créativa. Es decir no todos los artistas tienen el mismo sentido ni perspectiva en la vida,lo cual hace que en cada caso esta capacidad sea diferente y que dé como resultado una creación distinta.Tenemos que ver cada obra desde un ángulo diferente tratando de entender el sentido y perspectiva del artista. Cuando sucede lo contrario y que el artista toma el sentido y perspectiva de la gente,este pierde su originalidad creativa. Lo que es interesante, es que cada quién con su propia sensibilidad,inteligencia y formación cultural,observará una obra desde su propia perspectiva. Su propio sentido de la éstetica le permitirá hacer una interpretación personal de la obra. Lo artistico de dicha obra será algo diferente en cada espectador. No estarán observando el mismo arte. Desde mi perspectiva cada pintura ó escultura que yo realizo, tiene un valor propio,pero que tan bonita o fea pueda ser,dependerá de la perspectiva del espectador. A mí como artista siempre me ha resultado díficil juzgar el valor real de cada uno de mis trabajos,y a veces han pasado años para entender porqué una pieza es mejor que otra. Y es que hay muchos factores sociales y culturales que pueden determinar cual es el valor real de una obra. Estos factores cambian con el tiempo y las circunstancias. Entonces tenemos que para que un artista mantenga su capacidad créativa atravez de los años y a todo lo largo de su carrera, tendrá que mantener su perspectiva y no perderse en los laberintos y trampas de la vida. Sociedad y cultura condicionan todo,la economia lo permite ó no según las circunstancias, el trabajo del artista deberá substraerse a esto para poder crear en una forma que no lo condicione también. Hacer un trabajo libre de ataduras. Cuando la creación artistica está condicionada á la economia y sociedad,se convierte en un objeto décorativo y de moda que con el tiempo perderá su valor y será olvidada.

I think that for each artist the art is something very personal and that it corresponds to what it is his creative capacity. That is to say, all the artists do not have the same perspective sense in the life, which causes that in each case this capacity is different and that it result in a different creation. We have to see each work from a different angle trying to understand the sense and perspective of the artist. When the opposite happens and the artist takes the sense and perspective of the people, it loses its creative originality. What is interesting, is that every one with its own sensitivity, intelligence and cultural formation, will observe a work from its own perspective. Its own sense of the aesthetic will allow him to make a personal interpretation of the work. The artistic meaning of this work will be something different in each spectator. They will not be observing the same art. From my own point of view each painting or sculpture that I make, have its own value, but how pretty or ugly it may be, will only depend on the perspective of the spectator. To me as an artist it has always been difficult to judge the real value of each one of my works, and sometimes I have spent years tryng to understand why a piece is better than another one. And it is that there are many social and cultural factors that can determine it as a real valuable work. These factors change and the circumstances with time. Then we have that an artist maintains his creative capacity all along the years, and will have to maintain its perspective and not get lost in the labyrinths and traps of life. Society and culture condition everything, the economy allows it or not according to the circumstances, so the work of the artist will have to subtract itself to this to be able to create a form that will not condition it,and make a work free of fastenings. When the artistic creation is conditional to the economy and society, it becames a decorative and fashionable object that with time will lose its value and will be forgotten.
