Jan Stokfisz Delarue is a contemporary Polish painter. The artist has presented his works at exhibitions in many countries around the world, mainly in France, Great Britain and the United States. His paintings can be found in many private and institutional collections, incl. at the Museum of Contemporary Art of the City of Paris; Bologna Dal Fiume Dante, private collections of families: Chaplin, Kennedy, Clinton and many others.
Jan Stokfisz Delarue was born in 1950, in Poland, where he graduated from the the Faculty of Fine Arts in Toruń, Nicolaus Copernicus University, and then at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. In 1977 he moved to France and he painted there for 30 years.
