Irina Alexandrina is a contemporary Russian painter. Her main subjects, seascapes and cityscapes, allude to universal human experiences that she has discovered over a lifetime of travel.
Alexandrina’s works are present in the private collections of Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation; Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister of Russia; Gerhard Schroder, 7th Chancellor of Germany; Silvio Berlusconi, 50th Prime Minister of Italy; Askar Akaev, former President of Kirghizia; and Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia.
Her works are part of the Russian State Academy of Arts’ permanent collection and are in the collections of several state banks. Her oil paintings decorate the interiors of the State Congress Palace complex, the residence of the Russian Constitutional Court, and the headquarters of the global energy company Gazprom. One of Alexandrina’s paintings was presented to Stanford University by President Dmitry Medvedev in June 2010 and it has been added to the university’s collection.
Irina Alexandrina was born in Russia, where she graduated from the Russian State Academy of Art. She is a member of the Russian Union of Artists, the Regional Association of Artists in Italy: and the European Academy of Arts.
