What is the Time of Presence?
How long each of us is present in his life? We wake up every morning, go to work, come home from work in the evening and go to bed. The next day we wake up again. The day has passed, and I was somewhere doing something. But what did I do every minute of my life? - I don't remember... This artwork is painted in the style of surrealism. At first glance, you can see just a girl sitting with her cats. Such a usual picture. But suddenly red fish sail past her in the sky. This is something unusual. We do not get accustomed to it in our everyday lives. And at this moment we stop and start to look at the picture. We stop running forward and begin to be present in our lives and in our bodies. This strangeness makes us stop and start living.

Irina mostly creates expressive figurative art. The form and relationships between different forms and figures set a huge field of interpretation through different historical and mythological contexts. Irina's paintings are born in her inner world through observation and experience of the surrounding life.
Irina's art was influenced by the pictorial language of the Russian avant-garde of the early twentieth century and the work of German expressionists, as well as by Bosch, Giotto, El Greco, and Modigliani.
Irina has participated in many exhibitions. Her works are in private and public collections in England, Scotland, Russia, France, Italy, Spain, Finland, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic.
