Amidst the Clouds (2019) 雕塑 由 Huang Yunchang

The artwork "Amid the Clouds" features two elements: clouds and a horse. The horse stands gracefully while looking back, conveying a sense of vastness and height, reminiscent of the majestic plateau that seems to touch the sky. Through an imagistic approach, the clouds are placed upon the horse's back, shortening the perceived distance between the sky and the ground. This creates an open and tranquil scene, leading the viewers to envision the sky, the prairie, the white clouds, and the stationary horse.
