Biography
In his studio nestled in the privacy of his Toulon home, Henri BOROWSKI the self-taught, engages in stripped-down figuralism. Often on the spot, his landscapes, flowers, seascapes, scenes of life are worked on the feeling, in a thoughtless spontaneity. The palette gives in powerful tones. The light of each moment prevails over the shadow and becomes eternity. Son of Polish parents Henri BOROWSKI is attracted by painting and football. His qualities as a footballer will quickly make him a professional who will wear the colors of Sochaux, Toulon, Bastia and Montpellier. Inspired by the great Impressionist masters, painting quickly becomes one of his priorities. His paintings of the seascapes, his villages of Provence, his portraits and characters, his flowers and his fruits, his abstracts are all motifs painted by the artist. His technique: oil painting with a knife, his style: figurative abstract impressionist.
