The paintings are made in mixed media: the lower layers are painted in traditional oil painting, and the subsequent trees and textured grass are filled in. This is a rather chaotic and spontaneous technique that periodically leads to unpredictable results. It also very much depends on the state of the artist and how much he has mastered and understood how to work with PF paints without brushes and in an unusual horizontal position.

Galina Uzhdavini was born in 1986 in the city of Ufa, Republic of Bashkortostan. There she graduated from the evening department of Children's Art School No. 2.
In 2004, she entered the Faculty of Environmental Design at the St. Petersburg University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. She worked as an architect in an architectural studio.
Then she returned to fine art. After trying out various genres and techniques, I chose figurative oil painting and landscape in mixed media as my main theme.
In 2020, she completed a course at the Paideia School of Contemporary Art Interpretation, St. Petersburg.
In his works he combines classically depicted figures with abstract bright and neutral backgrounds, and also uses textures created using gold leaf and mixed technique fills. He also works with landscapes and experiments with encaustic techniques.
She is engaged in teaching activities with adults and children, preparing applicants for creative specialties at universities and colleges in Russia.
