🎨 Description
This oil painting, attributed to the Spanish artist Francisco González Romero, presents a dense still life composition featuring plates, fruits, bottles and jugs that dissolve into an almost abstract vision. The pictorial treatment is heavily gestural and expressive, with thick impastos and energetic brushstrokes that build a dramatic and evocative atmosphere. The palette is dominated by earthy tones, greys, broken whites and deep reds, enhancing the tension between form and texture. The work reflects a symbolic interpretation of domestic elements through a language rooted in mid-century European expressionism.
