Biography
Evgeniya Zolotareva is a contemporary Russian artist based in Czechia, whose artistic journey is steeped in the rich tradition of abstract art. Her passion for creativity began early, culminating in the completion of art school and, subsequently, the attainment of a Master of Arts degree from a renowned university in 2006. With an unwavering commitment to the language of abstraction, her work exudes a sense of freedom, letting the canvas speak for itself without the constraints of decorative frames. Evgeniya's art yearns for open space and revels in dynamic abstraction, perpetually reaching and expanding.
The shapes and forms within her paintings bear a distinct tension, almost quivering with the urge to stretch further, making her art a living, breathing entity. Emotion and intuition lie at the heart of her creative process, guided by a profound understanding of the interplay of shapes and colors. I'm pleased to announce and invite all art lovers to my personal exhibition in Vienna, which will take place at the gallery STEINER from 10/10 to 5/11/2022. The vernissagge will be held from 19 to 22 hours on 19/10/2022.
We all have emotional states when it is not easy to express our feelings. This exhibition is about finding the self-expression by forms, textures, interesting pattern and colors. Finding the beauty and harmony – the in-between spaces of our lives that we see but often do not notice.
Artworks should have the opportunity to "speak for itself" and does not need a decorative frame, but free space. Evgeniya tends to create a dynamic abstraction which gravitates towards. The shapes of her paintings are often in tension and trembling, they need to expand further. Her paintings are focused on emotions and intuition, understanding shapes and colors, but using experience and skills, which shown throughout the creative process. She sees every project as a unique exploration of curiosity and experimentation.

Workshop Jeseník 2022, CZ
I was very happy to have all participants of “Summer camp” by IPA Slovakia at my worksop at hotel Kamzík, Jeseník.
At first, participants were constrained, but I was pleasant to observe as gradually people start to feel comfortable and brave👍🏻 The aim of this workshop was completed 💯 . As we all mainly have situation in our lives where we need to control and think about consequences, the aim of workshop was the contrary - drop stiffness and control and fell free minded to create.
The original idea was to give each their canvas to paint on it. In many cases people feel limited and constrained when in front of canvas along with themselves. So, I decided to make the task easier by
joining all canvases together and painting together. I was really impressed by the fact how all participants opened and rushed to paint in a fit and without restrictions. After session they were surprised by the result, when we looked at each canvas as a separate painting.

ART&WINE festival took place at Dürnstein Abbey, Austria. It was nice time at splendid space of Abbey and surroundings.
I've got to know many other talented artists and made the contacts. I was happy to be a part of this event. Very recommend!

Art Show "We are people"
Last Friday 3.06.2022 was the Art Show "We are people" with my participation. I and Prague artist, original from Ukraine. The aim was to show that people from Russia and Ukraine could work together despite the conflict and support each other by creating something beautiful and peaceful as painting.
Ready painting was auctioned and raised the money for donation.

Painting donation to a Good shepherd, Civic Association
When you donate you get more than you give.
Finally, after more than one year of postponement due to Covid and related movement restriction, I've got to a Good shepherd to donate one of my paintings to homeless people. The feelings I felt after donation were indescribable - it was felt that, on the contrary, you received something priceless and not those people who accepted the gift. It is something so fulfilling and enriching that it is beyond words.

It is almost impossible to imagine a time when the grace, beauty, charm and delicacy of flowers didn’t seduce us. We turn to them for all the great miles of our lives.
There is no such clear sign in the world of renewal, rebirth and awakening. Although bright it fades quickly, it is therefore a symbol of ephemeral beauty, of the transience of existence. Flowers are a symbol of strength and lightness, in reality their fierce roots invade the most inhospitable soils that the flowers stand out with their bright flowers on rocky terrain, along superhighway or on asphalt.
The flower is a natural mandala that symbolically represents the wheel and the eternal movement of the cosmos that guides everything. The hermaphroditic nature of flowers is a symbol of the union of opposites in the process of self-realization. And this symbolic force has always fascinated the artists who have always made it the subject of their works. From a simple detail the flower becomes the absolute protagonist thanks to the painter Hans Memling even if its consecration will then take place with Caravaggio.
In this way, the natural theme is placed on the same level as the human one, of the great stories of the Gods or of the Saints. The flower, nature and what is connected to this world is no longer a simple decoration, an elegant means to enrich a work, it now becomes a real theme, noteworthy, worthy of representation and no longer plays a role marginal as in the past.
The advent of photography has played an important role in the representation of flowers in art from the past to the present day, where artists, using advanced techniques and increasingly sophisticated tools, explore the floral world in a total way, giving body to a true obsession: flowers explode, implode through all expressive languages, from video art to installation to sculpture. Their beauty remains, even in the apparent narrative cliché, the fulcrum of the privileged communication between humans and nature.
