In this oil painting, I captured the invigorating yet serene power of the sea in the Dominican Republic, where the vibrant blues of the water meet the tranquil azure of the sky. A true celebration of life, Viva La Vida. The waves are depicted with a blend of turquoise, teal and deep blue, reflecting the ocean's depth and mystery. I used oil paints to achieve a realistic portrayal of the sea’s foam and the soft wet sands. This piece invites viewers to feel the refreshing spray of the sea and listen to the calming whispers of the waves, bringing a sense of peace and the vastness of nature into any room.

Eva Volf is a fine artist based in Cleveland, Ohio, United States, who is best known for peaceful atmospheric seascapes. Her love of the Ocean flows deeply from childhood memories, renewed with every breaking wave and cleansing salty splash. Inspired by the majesty of the seas and beaches of the world, she channels her emotions of tranquility and fulfillment to the viewer through oil on canvas. Conceptualized at the source, each seascape is sketched at the beach to capture the vision before completion in the studio.

Volf serves on the board the American Artists Professional League NYC.  Her paintings have been in various exhibitions, including eight one-woman shows. Her art has won awards, including a number of First Places and Best of Shows.
