Finished with three layers of protective varnish, semi gloss, specifically manufactured for this type of paint. This bag makes a wonderful gift, either to yourself or that someone special. This is a wearable piece of art and can withstand some damp wheather, but not too much. The paint should not crack or chip off under normal use, but it is after all, a piece of hand painted art and should be treated with equal care. Focus on a future you dream of creating 

I am a self-taught artist and a dreamer. And I struggle a lot. I always dream of a colorful life. While living in Southern California I took up photography. I painted fun and expressive art on clothing, designed by me and sold to some small fancy shops on Melrose Blvd.  I painted murals for children's rooms but found that painting on canvas had my preference. Twelve years later: back in the Netherlands, I took several workshops sculpting in stone. It became a journey: sculpting in stone, sculpting in clay, analog, and then digital photography, ending up painting with acrylics and drawing digitally. Taking online classes with Pamela Caughey and Nickolas Wilton and Suzanne Allard, designer. Still overcoming my insecurities, but at last, I find great pleasure in painting and using different media.  I procrastinate at times, but I see that mainly as an inner search for the next thing to come. And when busy with my hands, my heart takes over and I get completely lost in my work.  I love imperfection while trying to be perfect. I figure that if I don't try and spread my wings, I will never know how high I can fly.

Ik vind dat kunst niet voor de elite behoort te zijn. Kunst wordt gemaakt door mensen en is gemaakt voor mensen, moet toegankelijk zijn en het liefst voor iedere portemonnee.
