His life works have been published in more than 50 newspapers and periodicals such as "Calligraphy News", "Xiling Art Cong", "Xinhua Daily", "Yangzi Evening News", and "Weekend", and have won many awards in large-scale national exhibitions and calligraphy and painting competitions. She has been featured in Jiangsu TV Station's "Big Photo", "Metropolis" and Nanjing TV Station's "Jinling Wind".

In 1987, the seal of the work "Hundred Life" was given as a gift by Nanjing University to Mr. Run Run Shaw, one of the top ten jazzmen in Hong Kong.

The book "Highlights of Yu Zijian's Calligraphy and Seal Engraving Exhibition" in 1989 was published by Nanjing Publishing House and distributed nationwide. This collection was created by the author between the ages of fifteen and twenty-five. It was the first collection of the youngest author in the field of calligraphy and seal cutting at that time.

In 1990, his seal carving and seal cutting works: One Hundred Dragons, One Hundred Phoenixes, One Hundred Turtles, One Hundred Tigers were collected by the Organizing Committee of the 11th Asian Games, and won the Excellence Award at the 1990 International Calligraphy and Seal Engraving Art Expo.

In August 1995, 20 art groups jointly selected him as a "Contemporary Painting and Calligraphy Celebrity" and won the honorary title.

In June 1996, he participated in the Singapore International Book Fair and the opening ceremony of the International Tourism Festival and his works were collected by President Huang Huanghui of Singapore.

The 200 prints of the work "Welcoming the Return" in June 1997 were collected by the Nanjing Treaty Archives, Nanjing Museum, Jiangsu Art Museum, and Mr. Tung Chee-hwa, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. In November 1997, Yu Zijian's artistic achievements were featured in the volume (11) of "China's Southern Journey" published by Japan's Kinji Rika Publishing House.

In September 1998, Nagoya and Nanjing visited Japan to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the sister city of Nanjing and held an on-site Chinese calligraphy and painting performance. In November 1998, his calligraphy works were selected for the 27th Japan Calligraphers Exhibition and won the honorary award.

In February 1999, he participated in the 100th anniversary commemoration of the discovery of oracle bone inscriptions in Nanjing. The work was selected for the International Academic Symposium on Oracle Shang Dynasty Civilization and the Oracle Exhibition and won the Excellence Award. In March 1999, the editorial board of the American World Art Center's "World Calligraphers and Painters Classics" awarded him the Celebrity Achievement Award for Calligraphy and Painting. In May 1999, he participated in the Nanjing 99 Calligraphy and Painting Charity Pen Club, and his calligraphy works were included in the Charity Federation's calligraphy and painting collection. In October 1999, I was sponsored by my Japanese friend Mr. Hama Xin to go abroad and study at Aichi International College in Nagoya. In May 2000, he obtained the artist visa (calligrapher) with the status of residence issued by the Japanese government for a total of 10 years. In April 2000, he became a member of the Aichi Prefectural Federation of Cultural Calligraphy. In June 2000, the second Yu Zijian calligraphy and seal cutting exhibition was held in Japan. In September 2000, the Nagoya International Exchange Center was specially invited to participate in the hot China Chinese Culture Festival and the Chinese Seal Carving Classroom as a lecturer. China's Sichuan Civilization Sanxingdui and Jinsha Relics Secret Room exhibitions are held throughout Japan at the Akita Museum of Art, the Iwate Prefectural Citizens' Hall, the Niigata Historical Museum, the Toyama Prefectural Citizens' Hall, the Aomori Industrial Hall, and the Koriyama City Museum of Industry and Commerce. Yu Zijian performed Chinese calligraphy and seal cutting on the spot in each of the above venues.

In October 2005, his calligraphy works were selected for exhibition at the 53rd Musashino City Art Exhibition. In December 2005, his calligraphy and painting works were selected for exhibition at the Xiaoping International Exchange Art Exhibition.

On June 2, 2006, Mr. Nishiri, the president of the Cultural Calligraphy Society, was invited to attend the Cultural Calligraphy Chinese Calligraphy Lecture on the ninth floor of the Osaka International Convention Center to perform Chinese calligraphy on the spot. In July 2006, the works of the All-Japan Chinese Calligraphers Association were exhibited, and his works were selected and won awards.
