What inspired you to create art and become an artist? (events, feelings, experiences...)

I have always been drawing, from early childhood and could not imagine myself without it. Of course, there were different periods of life, and in the end I received an architectural education. But soon painting took over and became my main and only profession. Art has always been with me.

What is your artistic background, the techniques and subjects you have experimented with so far?

I love to experiment and never limit myself in this. In my work I use different techniques - oil, acrylic, sometimes texture pastes, watercolor pencils and many other materials, depending on the idea that I want to convey to the viewer.

What are the 3 aspects that differentiate you from other artists, making your work unique?

It seems to me that my difference is that I can be different, while remaining whole. I use different styles, but they all answer the same important and exciting topic for me. The idea always comes first for me.

Where does your inspiration come from?

From people. I watch them, and my inner world, and I immediately want to illustrate my observations on canvas.

What is your artistic approach? What visions, sensations or feelings do you want to evoke in the viewer?

The theoretical platform of my artistic activity is metamodernism and new reality. I really like the term "oscillation". Most of my works on this topic and I strive to make the viewer "oscillate" so that people become more flexible, accept different thoughts and feelings and leave themselves the opportunity to doubt what they see around them, for a better knowledge of this world.

What is the process of creating your works? Spontaneous or with a long preparatory process (technical, inspiration from art classics or other)?

The most spontaneous thing in my work is the idea. The creation process itself is always technological, consistent and logical.

Do you use a particular work technique? if so, can you explain it?

No, I like to use different techniques.

Are there any innovative aspects in your work? Can you tell us which ones?

Complex issue. Every time I try a new technique, I try to add something of my own and often get some new effects. But this is such a technological question, which is difficult to answer in two words.

Do you have a format or medium that you are most comfortable with? if yes, why ?

No, no restrictions.

Where do you produce your works? At home, in a shared workshop or in your own workshop? And in this space, how do you organize your creative work?

My workshop is on the top floor of my own private house. That's why I'm always at work.

Does your work lead you to travel to meet new collectors, for fairs or exhibitions? If so, what does it bring you?

Oh sure. I travel around cities and countries to various fairs and exhibitions, and of course, this is always a new experience, inspiration and emotion.

How do you imagine the evolution of your work and your career as an artist in the future?

First of all, this is continuous growth, I never want to stop there. Of course, I dream of leaving my contribution to art and becoming the artist that the next generations will talk about. And for the near future, this is an increase in the number of my collectors, I love them so much and it is always a great pleasure for me to communicate with them.

What is the theme, style or technique of your latest artistic production?

The latest work was from my "birch" series and is dedicated to the uniqueness in each of us.

Can you tell us about your most important exhibition experience?

The most important was probably the very first. It was an art fair in my city. When you present your work to a wide audience for the first time, such emotions are not repeated.

If you could have created a famous work in the history of art, which one would you choose? And why ?

"Golconda" by Rene Magritte. Magritte had a huge influence on my work. And "Golconda" just conveys to the viewer what is close to me. The usual idea of things may turn out to be false.

If you could invite one famous artist (dead or alive) to dinner, who would it be? How would you suggest he spend the evening?

Andy Warhol. We will look out the window of the top floor of a skyscraper and talk about art.
