I indeed sold a watercolor through Artmajeur. I noticed the sale on my bank account because I received a transfer from which I did not know the source and I went to see my Armajeur site to retrieve the contact details of the buyer. I monitor the site daily. I sent my package and clicked on the corresponding box to send. It was simple and quick.
I also sold with direct contact through Artmajeur, but I prefer when it goes through the site. It's safer for me.
I sold in Luxembourg, previously in Greece and it's true that Artmajeur gives me the opportunity to shine in Europe and even in the world. I live in the south of France, in Provence where I exhibit in the summer. Provence is visited by tourists from all over the world and here too I have an international audience, but it's only in summer, whereas Artmajeur allows me to be seen everywhere all year round.
I am satisfied with the site and I talk about it to my fellow artists. My watercolors look good in photos and you don't need any special training for that. It may be more difficult for sculptors, but I know some who are doing well too. I could quote my sculptor colleague and friend Gérard Lami who works in metal and with whom I exhibit in August and September in a small gallery in Séguret. He too is happy with major art.
I had to deal with emails from scammers, but they are easily recognizable and I don't even open them. I have also experienced other sites of this kind, also paid, but at the moment I only keep this one because I find that it is the most practical and the most efficient, the most profitable in terms of of quality and price. I am sincerely satisfied with our collaboration.
