About the author
Marie Nicolas-Bénazet, born in 1964 in Carcassonne, lives and works in Grasse (Alpes Maritimes).
She opened a wood painting and watercolor studio and discovered the cyanotype technique three years ago, which became her mode of expression and allowed her to draw on her sources of inspiration
which are nature and art.
Over the years, she has built up a herbarium from her garden and the Grasse hinterland, which will become her plant writing, her dream territory.
The aim of her work is to deepen awareness of the beauty and harmony of nature,
thus through her artistic production she seeks to restore the sacred bond that unites us to it.
