Henri Ibara, a contemporary artist, was born in Algeria in 1950 and relocated to France in 1962. His artistic journey spans a rich tapestry of experiences and expressions, shaped by diverse influences and cultural backgrounds. In 1968, a pivotal encounter with the Italian painter Mario Carrara marked the beginning of an artistic mentorship that spanned over a decade. Under Carrara's guidance, Ibara received extensive training in various techniques of pictorial art, shaping the foundations of his artistic expression.

Henri Ibara's artistic footprint extends far beyond the borders of France, as he has showcased his work in numerous countries, including Japan, Tunisia, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Italy, the Caribbean, Luxembourg, and Switzerland.
