Ekaterina Kiryanova is a photographic artist born in 1986 in the Republic of Tajikistan. With a higher education in economics, she began her career as a professional photographer in 2008.
Between 2010 and 2013, she took courses at the "Photograph" photography school affiliated with the Faculty of Cinematography of the Gerasimov State National Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) in Moscow, specializing in artistic photography .
Ekaterina favors a completely manual process, from analog shooting to printing using various alternative manual processes such as cyanotyping, split toning and lithography.
She has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Russia and abroad. His photographs are in the collection of the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg as well as private collections around the world, including the United States, Australia, Lithuania and Russia. She has been awarded prizes in photography competitions, notably at the International Photography Awards (IPA) in Russia.
