About the author
Irina Domashenko, a photo artist who creates photo paintings. She strives to give people beauty and emotions through her works. Combining different styles in her work, combining very different things. In this connection, she calls the style of her work Synergy Fine Art.
She was born in Odessa (Ukraine), where she graduated from art school No. 2 in 1997, majoring in fine arts. In 2006 she graduated from the Kiev National University of Technology and Design. In 2009, I became interested in photography and began studying with professional photographer Vlad Tsvetkov, a member of the National Union of Photographers of Ukraine. Then she moved to Kyiv.
At the beginning of her creative career, she photographed portraits, architecture and a little interior. Which bore fruit - the portraits received silver at the Tokyo International Foto Awards 2022 in the category "People/Children" and were presented at the personal exhibition "Monochrome emotions". Architectural and interior photographs were printed on big boards, in highly specialized construction magazines and catalogues.
In 2022, the creative search approached the next stage, a desire arose to create photographs that would be not just a photograph, but a decorative work of art houses in which they will be placed, and bringing pleasant emotions to their owners, and Irina went to study at the Kiev School of Photography, studying in which gave a new perspective and impetus for creativity.
In 2022, she began to create her own photo paintings, combining the beauty of flowers and girls. The series, entitled "Synergy of the Beautiful", received Gold in Advertising/Beauty, 1st Place winner in Advertising in 2023 at the prestigious French competition Le Prix de la Photographie de Paris (PX3). Also, this series received an honorary 2nd Place / Advertising / Other in the prestigious American Photography Awards 2023. Continuing to develop and experiment with new forms and technologies, the “Synergy of the Beautiful” series, in the pursuit of synergy, was combined into triptychs in which girls and flowers are also combined with architectural elements.
The “Synergy of the Beautiful” series is not the only series of works.
The work of the beautiful American artist Georgia O'Keeffe inspired Irina to create a project of works called “The Color of Flowers”, which has already been divided into small series. The works of Georgia O'Keeffe struck me with the idea that flowers can be presented as an abstraction, which Irina began to implement in her works with the help of a camera.
