LaRon currently has work on display at the DuBois Library in the Barbara Leek Wesson art gallery 1835 Broadway Gary IN. Work will be on display until December 31 2005. There will be a closing reception on Saturday December 30 th from 2p.m. to 4p.m.

LaRon.. an emerging local artist who was first exposed to art at an early age in his hometown of Gary, Indiana. As early as grade school, he was consistently recognized for his advanced and gifted approach to the arts. Accepted into Emerson School of the Performing Arts, LaRon's natural talents came to life in an array of mediums, from pencil to charcoal to oils and acrylics. His work was entered into numerous exhibitions, resulting in notable success and exposure.

These days, LaRon continues to express himself through the arts. He paints and writes poetry regularly. He is a recognized contributor in the local art and poetry communities.

His art is currently being displayed in Artisan's 21 Gallery in Hyde Park's Harper Court 5225 South Harper Avenue located in Chicago, Ill.

He is also hosting an open mic poetry night on Tuesday's at Satches, Inc. 1700 Grant St. in Gary, IN.

He has an upcoming Gallery Exhibit at the Gary Public Library, located in the Du Bois Branch Library 1835 Broadway, Gary, IN. from November 15, 2005 through December 30, 2005
