I am a contemporary visual artist, working from my home and studio in a coastal town in Northern N.S.W. Australia. Outside I create art projects/ephemeral installations, using what is around me – palm leaves, and other organic matter become ‘mysterious creatures’ that appear and disappear with the seasons etc......Inside (my studio), is an extension of outside and vice versa.
My work draws on the experiences of living in both Egypt and Bulgaria, and in 10 years I’ve held several solo exhibitions in Cairo, Sofia, Barcelona, Sydney and Brisbane. There is a freedom in being outside the confines of formal artistic practice, and yet my early teachers and mentors, left me with an innate desire to just go into my studio and work.

There is new work on the site - more in this series to come!! I'm inspired by this ancient land I live in, where snakes abound, the birdsounds out of the bush, black bamboo, sweet scents of ginger and frangipani - Love to hear from you in the guestbook.
