Ho sempre praticato la mia passione per il disegno e la pittura , approfondendo l’uso di vari materiali espressivi come i colori ad olio e l’acquerello, compreso un periodo di frequentazione presso l’Accademia di Brera.
In realtà, attraverso queste esperienze, cercavo un modo di esprimermi che fosse completamente “mio”, che realizzasse pienamente la mia creatività; mi sentivo come “il muto che ha fatto un sogno bellissimo ma non può raccontarlo”. Ho trovato questo modo con la scoperta della pittura materica.
I materiali che uso, tessuti, vegetali e minerali offrono tessiture insolite ed interessanti . Si tratta di una continua scoperta: ho imparato ad osservare la bellezza intrinseca di un pezzo di legno abbandonato sulla spiaggia dalla mareggiata, la forma scultorea di una radice, i disegni e le trasparenze di un tessuto
Recentemente mi sto inoltre dedicando alla sperimentazione di diversi materiali, sabbia carta e cartone, gesso, stucco, colle, pigmenti. e agli effetti che riesco a produrre.
