Ekaterina Gandurina graduated from the Moscow Textile Institute (A.N. Kosygin Russian State University) with a degree from the Faculty of Applied Arts. In her artistic practice, she specializes in the technique of batik and silk painting.

Gandurina is an active member of various creative unions. In 1988, she became a member of the Youth Association of the USSR Union of Artists, and in 1991, she joined the Union of Designers of Russia. Since 1992, she has been a member of the Moscow Union of Artists, and since 1998, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia and the International Association of Visual Arts AIAP UNESCO.

Ekaterina has been actively participating in exhibitions since the late 1980s, regularly showcasing her work at various art events both in Russia and abroad. Her solo and group exhibitions include shows in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Paris, Milan, Prague, Luxembourg, and many other cities.
