My latest series of collages, titled “In transition," represents a journey through time, through fragments of my diary entries from the past 2-3 months. Each collage is like a portal into a moment, a thought, an emotion that overflows into colors, shapes, and textures.
Passage is not just a physical movement, but also an inner transformation, a search for new perspectives, facing the shadows, and embracing the light. Each collage is like a crossroads where the past, present, and future meet, where reality intertwines with imagination.
The collage technique allows me to explore the world around me in an analytical-synthetic way. Cutouts from newspapers, magazines, old photographs, and other paper scraps are transformed into new stories, new meanings. Each element of the collage has its own weight, its own story, which intertwines with others and creates a whole.
My collages are vibrant and colorful, full of energy and contrast. This is a departure from my usual work, which is more strict and minimalist. This time I wanted to break free from constraints and let the colors and shapes guide me, carry me away.
Passage is a meditation, it is therapy, and it is a path of self-discovery. Each collage is an invitation to this journey, an invitation to deeper reflection on oneself and the world around us.
