Djordje Djordjevic is full time artist more than 35 years.
He was born in 1949 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia.
He studied fine art and took the degree at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, Italy.
His education and professional experience is supplemented with frequent trips to Europe and contacts with some artists-colleagues (Hans Hartung, Emilio Vedova and many others).
He is a member of the prestigious Association of Fine Artists of Serbia –ULUS.
He has exhibited in significant galleries in Serbia and Belgrade, as well as abroad. Until 1971 he has realized 17 solo exhibitions and more than 50 group exhibitions. Also he participated in a few international workshops.
His paintings are in the property of private collectors in Serbia, Croatia, Italy, France, Switzerland, Japan, as well as the National Museum in Belgrade, the Museum of Applied Art, and Hotel Hyatt Regency.
The last ten years he has lived in Belgrade, more focused on experiments and investigations within his artistic poetics, less on exhibitions.
Despite this, he is opened to cooperation and projects with gallery owners, artists, designers, and architects concerning the realization of exhibitions, interiors and settings in the open space.
