Limited edition, printed directly onto the surface of a gold brushed aluminium Dibond panel, using UV Fine Art pigments for the modern 7-colour print. The shimmering look of the textured surface produces an exciting contrast to the intensely vivid colour and precise detail of the print. Gold tones convey a lavish atmosphere and transport you into the enchanting world of the geishas.
This artwork is part of the Geisha Series, inspired by a traditional Japanese performance I saw in Kyoto in spring 2015. It reflects the mysterious beauty and elegance of the geishas, their infinite seduction power.

Je suis un artiste roumain qui habite à Cannes. J'ai commencé à peintre il y a 20 ans et depuis j'ai suivi des courses de peinture et céramique à Nice et à Melbourne et exposé dans 2 galeries à Cannes.
J'aime expérimenter différentes formes d'art parmi lesquelles la sculpture en argile et ensuite en bronze, les collages avec des miroirs et des objets en plastique, l'art digital à partir de photos, que je prends pendant mes voyages. En ce moment j'explore plusieurs techniques de peinture en utilisant des pigments et de la résine ce que donne une texture de céramique à mes tableaux. Les pigments que j'emploie change leur couleur en fonction de la lumière. De la même manière je crée des peintures avec des formes géométriques superposées, en utilisant du l'acrylique métallisé ou transparent qui reflécte la lumière. Ainsi mes tableaux se dévoilent en fonctionne de la lumière qui les éclaircie.
