Biography
Cinzia Busto is a contemporary Italian painter. Through the use of oil on canvas and her own photographic images, she presents the contemporary. Her distinctive and recognized work, which has earned her a number of awards from the very beginning, is founded on light, substance, and color that are both unreal and mental. Her key topics on which she bases her unique perspective of the world include the landscape, whether it be natural or urban, both sites of memory and identity.
Cinzia Busto regularly displayed her works in Italy, most notably at the Palazzo della Permanente in Milan on the occasion of the Mondadori Arte Prize, at Palazzo Durini in Milan, Palazzo Renzo Piano in Novara, the historic Palazzo Motta in Orta San Giulio, as well as in the stables of the Castello Visconteo in Pavia. Her works are in private collections in the USA, Europe and Asia.

Independent Artists partecipa alla dodicesima edizione di Paratissima Torino con opere di artisti legati da un filo rosso dettato dalle tematiche urbano-antropologiche: L’uomo che abita la città! Diverse le declinazioni, dall’architettura astratta alla prospettiva dinamica passando per un simbolismo di immediata comprensione.
Qui di seguito gli artisti selezionati: Corrado Pizzi, Amedeo Fernandes, Cinzia Busto, Carlo Olper, Daniela Borla, Enzo Forgione, Andrea Sbra Perego, Urban Solid, Lele De Bonis. Il mood di quest’anno per la dodicesima edizione di Paratissima è “To The Stars”.
Performance, workshop, incontri e tavole rotonde gli appuntamenti sono per tutti i gusti e ogni genere di pubblico, anche Independent Artists promuove una performance dell’artista Andrea Sbra Perego che l’artista proporrà durante la serata inaugurale. Il titolo è “MILKY WAY”. La Direzione artistica, affidata a Simonetta Pavanello, con il corpo di ballo Compagnia Giovane Scena supportano l’artista nello svilupparsi di una performance dedicata al tema delle stelle! Milky Way è una performance che coinvolge diverse forme d’arte: pittura, video, danza e musica.
