Christiane peint dans une forme réaliste, le portrait, le paysage et la nature morte depuis 1986.
Elle a été désignée Premier Pastellist of Canada par la Pastel Society of Canada et membre signature de la Société de Pastel Society of America. Elle est aussi membre de la Société de pastel Eastern Canada et de la Société de portrait du Canada.
Christiane expose ses pastels depuis 1987 au Canada, aux Etats-Unis et en Europe. Plusieurs prix et mentions incluant le premier prix de Pastel Society of Eastern Canada, Pastel Artist Canada et le Cercle des artistes peintres et sculpteurs du Québec lui ont été décernés.
Son travail a été publié dans le Best of Canadian Pastels, le Magazine Pastel Artist International 2002 et dans les répertoires Magazin’art.
Vous pouvez vous procurer de ses œuvres à la Fontaine des Arts de Rouyn-Noranda, au Musée d’histoire d’Amos (ancien palais de justice), au Rendez-vous des Arts à La Sarre ainsi qu’à son studio-galerie de Palmarolle.

Biography
She was born in Authier in Abitibi, Quebec, Canada. From 1970 to 2005, she taught visual arts at the secondary level, while continuing professional training courses: Certificate in plastic arts, oil painting, pottery, enamels on copper, watercolor and pastel.
Since 1986, Christiane has devoted herself to pastel which she perfected with Canadian and American masters: Dave Beckett, Daniel Green, Ben Konis, Christina Debarry and Albert Handell.
Specialized in portrait, still life and landscape, she is elected by jury, First pastelist in Canada with the Pastel Society of Canada. She regularly participates in their annual events and these juried competitions have allowed her to exhibit, among other places, in New York, Florida, Santa Fe, Vancouver, Ottawa, Portugal, the Czech Republic of Quebec in Abitibi and Pons in France.
Several of his paintings are part of public collections: Fédération des Caisses populaire du Québec, the Fédération des Travailleurs du Québec, the Fondation de l'Université du Québec, Tembec forestry group and the major junior team (Les Foreurs)
She obtained several First Prizes during her career.
