Why am I touched by a coastal landscape, a horizon or a mountain? Something in me communicate what I see as a resonance in the soul. Sometimes the feeling is so strong that the experience is purely physical. Life is relationships and communication, I have a relationship with everything that gets my attention.
A photograph is a moment borrowed from life. Between the impression that reaches my eye and my response - I take a photo, it's a shorter or longer period of time. Within this space of time something happens, I become touched and often I do not know why.
Memories, dreams and longings are stored both in body and in soul, often diffuse and difficult to access. When I am touched, it is as if they get color and form. In my interior new landscapes open up, beautiful and vulnerable. It is inevitable that this is reflected in the images.
