NY Arts Pavillion Consorzio Cantieristica Minore Veneziana, aprirà al pubblico domenica 7 Giugno,
con un gala reception dalle 15 alle 17. Con otto curators internazionali da dodici diversi Paesi, la mostra presenterà opere di più di 100 artisti, lavori in tutte le discipline esclusivamente eseguite su carta. Tra i curatori Basak Malone e Tchera Niyego da New York, Agustina O'Farrell da Buenos Aires, L. Brandon Krall da New York, Cosimo Di Leo Ricatto da Amsterdam, e Stefano Pasquini dall’Italia. Facendo eco alle ideologie della 53^ Biennale di Venezia, la NY Arts Pavillion enfatizza il processo della creazione e della scoperta. Contrassegnato dai rapporti, dall’estetica e dalle pratiche locali e globali il NY Arts Pavilion commenta circa la Visual Culture in un contesto più ampio, rispetto a quello della tradizionale Fiera d’Arte.
Il luogo della mostra si trova sulla storica isola della Giudecca, che sarà trasformata, in un nesso di Media e Visual Art per la durata di 5 mesi. Assieme ai molti progetti online, la mostra sarà occasione per gli scrittori e per il pubblico di presentare saggi e osservazioni sulla natura delle Biennali, delle fiere e delle mostre pubbliche per i nuovi ed emergenti artisti. Works On Paper, A Global Perspective, rispecchia la posizione della maggior parte degli Artisti, che lavorano costantemente per rispondere ed adattarsi a cambiare gli stati sociali e politici del Mondo Contemporaneo.
Al termine dell’anno la NY ARTS Venice exhibition si trasferirà in Cina e verrà presentata presso la Arts Space Beijing () per la durata di un mese.

NY Arts Pavillion Consorzio Cantieristica Minore Veneziana, will open with a gala reception to the public on Sunday June 7, 3 to 5 pm. With eight international curators working with a dozen different countries, the exhibition will feature works by over 100 artists and includes new works and on-site commissions in all disciplines dynamically executed on paper. The curators include L. Brandon Krall, Basak Malone and Tchera Niyego from New York, Agustina O'Farrell from Buenos Aires, Cosimo Di Leo Ricatto from Amsterdam, and Stefano Pasquini from Italy. Echoing the ideologies of the 53rd Binnale di Venezia, the NY Arts Pavillion emphasizes the process of creation and discovery. Marked by local and global relationships, aesthetics, and practices the NY Arts Pavilion comments on visual culture in a wider context, than the traditional art fair exhibition.
The location of the exhibition on the historic island of Giudecca will transform the island itself, into a visual art and media nexus for a full 5 months. In conjunction with several Internet projects, the exhibit will offer writers and viewers the chance to submit essays and comments on the nature and significance of biennials, fairs and public exposure for new and emerging artists. Works On Paper, A Global Perspective, echoes the position of the majority of artists featured, as they constantly work to respond and adapt to changing social and political conditions of the contemporary world.
At the end of the year The NY ARTS Venice exhibition will travel to China and be shown at Arts Space Beijing () for the duration of one month.
