Bault is a key artist on the current urban scene. Originally from Aveyron, he currently lives and works in Paris. In 1997, he became familiar with the practice of graffiti before training at the École des Beaux-Arts in Avignon and then at the Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg. He learned the ropes with several groups such as TK, TSH and FDP. Little by little, he abandoned the practice of graffiti to devote himself to art video, graphic design and illustration.
Passionate about Art Brut and children's drawings, his work is marked by a diverted realism. His interest also focuses on Brazilian artistic practices and more particularly on the pixaçao technique: a mixture of tags and typographic research. Everyone is free to create their own signs in order to claim their ideals.
