Biography
Antonio Philipp, (3 June 1953 – 11 February 2001), was a Canadian artist of Italian descent. The style of his work is surrealistic through the mediums of oil, pen and ink. Since 1979 and throughout his life he participated in several exhibitions through galleries based mostly in Toronto, Canada.
“The surface world of the conscious mind and its systematic structure is a physical reality which is at best limited in its scope. To realize one’s potential in reaching inside the subconscious waters of experience and memory, and create from these visions a personal statement that would attempt not to explain but instead to offer alternatives.
