Biography
Since 2012, Antoine Charbonnier has been developing contemporary plastic work including sculptures, paintings and photographic series based on the meticulous observation of our natural world.
His work of study and experimentation draws our attention to an organic whole through a technology that seems to be a deceptively sophisticated laboratory. Thanks to the materials and techniques he uses to create large-scale installations, everyone can freely observe and understand his work.
Antoine Charbonnier was born in 1994 in Nevers, in Nièvre, France. He studied contemporary art at the École supérieure d'art de Clermont-Ferrand (France) and obtained a license in museology at the University of Dijon (France) in 2017. He shares the workshops of Bain d'huile in Clermont-Ferrand since 2018.

The artist.
Antoine Charbonnier explores different fields, suggests and stages observations in nature or under the microscope in the form of paintings, sculptures or photographs, which draw the eye to a formed whole taking shape in works marked by fragility. This time, it is for his exhibition entitled "Beyond the visible" which Antoine Charbonnier is attending.
Practical information.
Come and discover his works and especially his world from Tuesday to Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The exhibition will also be open for visitors on Mondays from July 14 until August 15. The entire exhibition is showcased in the heart of the Abbey of Corbigny but the whole of the Abbey is open to visitors.
Prices.
Admission to access Antoine Charbonnier's exhibition is completely free for children under 12 and 3 euros for adults.
