Artistic statement

•My name is Anna Kryvych. I am a Ukrainian actress and artist. Before February 24, 2022, I was performing at the Theater in my hometown, Kyiv. After my new home became Spain where I started learning Spanish and the incredible city of Madrid inspired me to paint.

•The theme of my first collection was dedicated to the Ukrainian people due to the war and the authentic and heroic strength that Ukrainian women have. What I have raised through my painting has gone entirely to aid for children in difficulty.

• However, I continued with my second collection and over time I began to feel more my new city Madrid, the environment and the challenges faced by people who wanted to or had already changed their gender. I wanted to highlight this problem and with my works extend the acceptance of this topic that so few people understand 100%, to give a boost to the mental openness. Embracing and being tolerant in its fullness is the art of human evolution. Our fast life does not allow us to show more empathy and compassion. However, being from the new era is a person who perceives and does not judge others

•My personal mission, to increase faith and show when you believe deeply in goodness, light and hope, there will always be a new way to find yourself in a new life.
