A difficult subject for many artists, literally a creative challenge, is the depiction of Harlequin stories.

Harlequin is a complex and contradictory character, he is jocular, funny and confuses the viewer in reasoning whether he is clever or stupid. Along with his bright and colorful clothes, he attracts the viewer's attention, making him watch all the plot twists of the character.

In the presented painting Turansky Alexander depicted Harlequin together with his girlfriend - Columbine, who are carelessly drinking and enjoying a vacation with each other. In the catalog of the Main Department of Culture and Arts “Painting. Plastics” catalog from 2006 presents similar variants of this subject.

Each painting is carefully and well packaged
