He approached painting in 2020, shortly before the advent of covid. With the help of one of his grandmothers, also a painter, he was able to learn the basics of oil painting. Then the pandemic broke out and, staying indoors, he began to develop his own style, very introspective, exposing his anxieties and torments in the form of strange figures and grotesque landscapes and taking inspiration from surrealism and romanticism, uniting them in a contemporary key. His muse in that period was the moon, hence the art name Alex Moon, since in the evening, looking out the window, he observed it for hours. After the pandemic he decided that he never wanted to abandon painting again and began to paint, improving himself more and more and ranging not only in oil painting but also in digital painting, on a graphics tablet, managing to produce many more works. His art is constantly evolving in the experimentation of technique, color and materials, taking inspiration from the past and looking to the future.
He was born in Venaria Reale, in the province of Turin, on 13 May 2001.
