“Eclipsed Eden” envisions a world where the boundaries between humanity and the natural world dissolve into a state of mutual reverence. The young woman sits in quiet harmony, framed by the presence of pandas—symbols of both resilience and fragility in the face of ecological upheaval. Neither she nor the animals impose upon one another; instead, they exist in stillness, their presence intertwined, a reminder of an ancient bond that modern civilization has all but forgotten.

The golden fabric of her dress, adorned with floral motifs, mirrors the vibrant foliage that surrounds her, emphasizing the notion that human identity, culture, and even adornment once arose in direct connection with nature rather than in defiance of it. The warm hues contrast with the pandas’ stark black-and-white fur, highlighting the precarious reality of species that hover on the brink of survival due to human encroachment and environmental destruction.
