View allThe groove in which these images are placed is that of an indication of the inexpressible reality, a territory "where I have never been": the photographs are reduced to a sort of pure "inscription" which has no other meaning outside of its mere existence. In these images, once again, language plays an essential role: it acts as a structure of separation where its presence is made only by its becoming silent in front of the visual work. This involves the inevitable manifestation of a "relationship with the lost", this apparent absence of language means that every moment is forgotten, so Res is entrusted with the task of translation so that the visual text becomes unforgettable, a sort of language for the deaf and dumb. The result of these ambiguities is a continuous "retraction": here the intention is not to withdraw or declare the testimony given by the images as false, but rather to "treat again", or to define the meaning in an increasingly clear way, to continue the magic of writing.

View allHere, the art of photography merges with pure thought, creating a world of sounds, emotions and concepts, where images stand as guardians of a metaphysical reality, a place where happiness, joy, affliction and serenity are depicted in abstract strokes capable of challenging time and space. It is a kingdom in which the present, in the words of the philosopher F. Nietzsche, touches eternity in an infinite cycle of return. All this recalls De Chirico's profound reflections on the relationship between time and eternity, a magical concept in which both touch, like the moment of midday described by Nietzsche. It is the moment when the sun, having reached the culmination of its journey, looks back to begin its journey again, a ring connecting yesterday and tomorrow in an eternal return.
Yet, this reality, this sort of anti-world, that emerges from this work goes beyond the phenomenon, it is a metaphysical reality, a hyper-reality that challenges surrealism itself. It is not an alternative world, but a higher dimension, revealed through art and metaphysics. Through these digital images, we immerse ourselves in a constellation of profound meanings and suggestions, where eternity and time dance in timeless harmony, in a visual embrace that challenges our perception and pushes us to contemplate the infinite beauty of created.

View allFor this "artistic experiment" I was inspired by Popper and Eccles' theory of the three worlds. This theory is a philosophical perspective that seeks to explain the complexity of reality in three distinct Worlds:
- The First World refers to the world of objective physical phenomena. It is physical reality, composed of material objects, natural processes and empirically observable events.
- The Second World is the world of mental and subjective phenomena. This world includes the experiences, perceptions, and mental processes that occur within the human mind, including thoughts, emotions, and consciousness.
- The Third World is the world of the products of the human mind, such as language, culture, scientific knowledge, art and social institutions. This world is made up of concepts, ideas, symbols and representations that emerge from human mental activities and influence society and culture.
Popper and Eccles' theory suggests that the three worlds are interconnected and that the complete understanding of reality requires appropriate consideration of each of them. The authors developed such ideas as part of their research into the philosophy of mind and consciousness, seeking to overcome the dichotomy between the objective world of science and the subjective world of human experience.
My goal is thus to create a photographic work of art that passes from World Three to World One, through World Two. Ultimately, if we assume as a hypothesis that art resides in the world of ideas and knowledge, then even the use of new technologies based on generative Artificial Intelligence do not represent any threat to our creative process, but offer us new tools to expand the need to express, in new and increasingly profound ways, our personality.

View allA contemporary look, however, reveals a curious dynamic: in fact, a contrast seems to emerge with the attacks that the earth suffers, while it defends itself by reclaiming its space again. This operation of apparent "erasure" manifests itself more as a sort of rewriting. We like to imagine that, behind this apparent disagreement, the true contours of coexistence between man and earth are hidden. No longer a relationship of aggression, but a symbiosis, a profound connection that our eyes unfortunately struggle to capture due to the growing distance from the essential things of the world.
This project presents itself as an investigation, an attempt to scrutinize through a gaze less contaminated by prejudice, what could be the ways to return to a principle of cooperation and integration with creation in this era of ever-increasing separation from the fundamental realities of life.
The teeming chaos of these images, a tribute to Pieter Bruegel, will slowly take shape to condense into a large digital collage after a long and meticulous study.

View allMan, as an integral part of nature, has the duty to protect and preserve its beauty and complexity. The distancing from this awareness has led to an increasing exploitation of natural resources and a general disregard for life.
Noah's ark represents a last hope of salvation for a world increasingly on the brink of destruction. The evocative and surreal images aim to convey the beauty and fragility of creation. They depict animals of different species always in the same natural setting characterized by earth and roots, a sort of mental space, and always directing their gaze towards Noah, invisible until the end and positioned, ideally, on the left side of the scene. The figure of the prophet is also characterized by earth and roots, and takes on the appearance of a classical statue, almost representing that elusive ideal of the most authentic humanity.
Each photograph is accompanied by a short first-person text, an evocative presentation of each individual creature, aimed at stimulating reflection and awakening the sensitivity of the audience. Through the beauty of the images and the depth of the texts, it is hoped to inspire a change in direction in our relationship with the planet and the creatures that inhabit it. The palindrome used in the title leaves no way out: it can be read in multiple directions but with only one meaning, a fixed point that allows no negotiations or postponements.
Chimere • 26 artworks
View allThe Chimera, with its unique fusion of different animals, is much more than just a mythological creature. It represents the intersection between good and evil, the scary and the fantastic, the monstrous and the utopian. It is an entity that challenges convention and pushes us to explore our deepest ambivalences.
For millennia, Chimeras have inspired philosophers and poets, stimulating reflections on universal themes such as identity, the duality of human existence and the desire for freedom and self-realization. In a world dominated by the ordinary, the Chimeras remind us that the audacity to dream big is the beginning of every great adventure.
You may ask: why does the Chimera continue to fascinate us so deeply? Perhaps because it resonates with the innate desire to overcome our limits, to transform dreams into reality and to forge one's destiny with courage and determination.
In the works exhibited in this series, the Chimeras come to life as symbols of hope and challenge. They represent our constant journey towards authenticity and personal fulfillment, pushing us to embrace our fragilities and find the inner strength necessary to overcome any obstacle.

View allYou may be wondering, "What is an elephant doing on some kind of miniature planet?" The answer is simple: it's trying to find its place in a universe that is as vast as it is mysterious. And what about the church with the cypress tree on the moon? It is an ode to the possibility of building the sacred in unexpected and remote places, a symbol of hope that shines even in the darkest nights.
These images are the result of a mental experiment, an attempt to bring back to our memory that sense of wonder we felt as children when every common object could become a door to a fantastic world. I hope that by looking at these photos, you can rediscover that feeling of amazement and imagination that we often lose in our frenetic daily lives.
This metaphorical journey was an opportunity for me to explore surrealism, but also to rediscover the power of symbolism and references. Through light but meaningful images, I have tried to offer you a look towards the sky, towards infinity and beyond, where every limit blurs and every possibility is open.
I invite you to accompany me on this journey, to let yourself be carried away by the images and to explore a world where reality merges with dreams, where the rational merges with the irrational. Prepare to be surprised, enchanted and perhaps a little confused, but above all prepare to relive that sense of wonder that is hidden within each of us. Have a good trip!
