Sergio Veglio is a contemporary Italian artist. He began in 2011 by displaying a taste of the ongoing project, which is based on a well-known American urban legend: the famous "coast to coast" journey. Real visions were painted on 12 canvases as they traveled through the surreal vistas of Route 66, complete with the artist's trademark cinematic edits based on the play of light and shadow. In the piece "Clouds," he allows the words and music of Fabrizio De Andrè, who have always caused the artist's heart to erupt in a riot of disturbances, to direct him. This results in an emotional reinterpretation of the imposing Boccadasse. Today he approaches the Pop Art trend through artistic portraiture that features figures from our collective imagination.
