Loving to describe the glimpses of those moments that have been frozen in our memory, I try to reveal in my works the structure and atmosphere of these memories. It is therefore with great contrasts of colors and rapid gestures that I create my paintings: there is no certainty of place and time. The details then enhance the composition and produce elements of clarity, like those that can emerge from our memory.

Rodrigo Arias, graphic artist, develops his work in the genre of figurative expressionism where he represents characters and situations to generate unique fragments of daily life. His creations materialize in vivid color contrasts. Through the representation of nightmarish memories, he tries to convey the contemporary, confused and complex reality that surrounds us.
